She is survived by her husband, Keith son, Aaron (Tessa) grandchildren, Greyson, Alec and Misty sisters-in-law, Sheila and Sonya and many nieces and nephews. Nancy had a solid Christian faith and her last visit at home with the priest brought her great joy. Nancy liked playing Mah-Jongg with her friends and in recent months when sick she would play the game by telephone. She especially enjoyed visiting with her high school friends “The Carlos Girls”. She loved spending time at West Alaska and pontooning on Balm Lake. In 2017 Nancy received an award for “Coach/Mentor of the Year” for the State of Minnesota.Īfter more than twenty years of working with the court system, she retired to enjoy life with family and friends. During her tenure, Nancy served as interim court administrator for each of the seventeen counties of the district. She was later promoted to Deputy Administrator for the district. In January 1993 Nancy was hired as a trainer for the Ninth Judicial District of Minnesota. While in Warroad, Nancy enrolled in the external studies program at Bemidji State University. In 1993 they moved to Warroad where Nancy worked in the Tours and Training Department of Marvin Windows and for the Warroad School District. They lived near Alexandria for the next three years during which time she attended college at Morris for one year and then at St. Nancy married Keith Winger at Jackson Hole, WY on July 21, 1987. After graduation, Nancy was employed briefly in Minneapolis, then in Alexandria for Douglas County Social Services and Douglas County Court. She attended Carlos Elementary School and graduated from Jefferson High School in Alexandria. She grew up in the small town of Carlos just north of Alexandria. Nancy was born in Minneapolis on Jto Arvin and Leona Dorman. Philip’s Catholic Church and one hour prior to the service at the church.
